Daniel holds his Master of Arts in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University with an emphasis in spiritual formation. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas. Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts in theology at MNU. In the past he has served teens and parents in faith formation as a youth pastor. In addition to counseling, Daniel serves and guides young adults in wellness, life skills, identity formation and mental health assessment at a local liberal arts university as Director of Residential Life.
Daniel practices from psychodynamic, experiential and attachment theories. He works with individuals, couples, adolescents and Spanish speaking clients.
Daniel cares about the story of each individual, especially those who have been marginalized, experience brokenness or rejection from others.
As a counselor, Daniel invests in the personal healing and growth of the client. Transformation is experienced through the exploration of individual and relational hurts and trauma. This is practiced within the context of a safe environment and an ongoing therapeutic relationship.
