Jim is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas and serves teens, couples, and individuals. Jim works primarily as an Emotions-Focused Counselor, believing that emotions play a vital role in understanding our internal experience and actions. Jim aims to create a compassionate, caring environment that enables clients to explore, express and process their emotions and lead to healing.

Based on prior clinical work, Jim has experience working with individuals and couples struggling with relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, career adjustments, grief, familial struggles and trauma.

Jim earned his Masters of Arts in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University with an emphasis in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. Prior to working as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Jim worked for 5 years as a student pastor.
